On Monday we focused on ELA Writing. We did Report Writing as well as Narrative Writing. The students presented to their peers.
Tuesday was a public holiday where we celebrated Emancipation Day.
Wednesday we started off camp with a warm up which the students always enjoy. Then we worked on the topic: My Life. Here we looked at our strengths and weaknesses, the things we want and what we wish to become, and what we need to do in order to get there. After lunch we went into groups and focused on Math skills.
Thursday we continued with Maths and Language Arts. We also got some lovely group photos.
Friday we worked on our vision board project and the kids made their very own vision boards. Doing this opened their eyes to what they want to achieve (their goals) and what they have to do (sacrifice) in order to attain it. They were so creative and goal oriented! As promised, they got dance time to end the week.
